Joceline Fortes, a 22 year-old communications student from Sao Vicente, was crowned Miss Cape Verde 2009 at the National Auditorium.
If funding is secured, Joceline Fortes will represent Cape Verde in Miss world 2010 pageant contest in Vietnam. While 1st runner-up is Elizabete Barradas and 2nd runner-up is Francisca Correia.
