Luíza Tessari, Miss Archipelago of Alcatrazes, won the sports’ competition in the event Miss Mundo Brasil at the Hotel do Frade, in Angra dos Reis.
Luíza Tessari is the first ever representative of the Alcatrazes, a group of islands located off the coast of São Paulo. The beautiful 23-year-old model advanced to Miss Moudo Brasil’s semi-finals.
Luíza Tessari beat Misses Amapá, Larissa Costa (2nd plcae), and Alagoas, Morgana Melo (3rd place), to take the first spot in the Top 16.
The 36 candidates competed in sports’ events, including running, volleyball, cricket and pool.
